Affiliate marketers needed a dedicated platform to publish and surface trending deals across multiple stores and categories — without relying on generic comparison sites that weren't built for curated, time-sensitive offers.

There was no lightweight, focused solution that combined a clean browsing experience for end users with a powerful admin workflow for deal publishers. So I built one, from zero to production, as the sole engineer.

Solo full-stack engineer — owned the entire product lifecycle: frontend, backend, database architecture, authentication systems, deployment, and production maintenance.

Independently designed and developed every part of the platform, making all architecture and product decisions alone, from first commit to live deployment.

Designed the data model first — deals, stores, categories, users, and engagement all needed to work together without turning into a mess. PostgreSQL with a normalised schema kept it clean.

Built the admin panel before the public-facing UI to validate the content management workflow. If the deal publishing flow was painful, no one would maintain it. Getting that right early kept the public side easy to fill.

CI/CD via GitHub Actions — every push to main runs tests and deploys. Solo project means no code review buffer, so automated checks were the safety net.
